But in winter, no watercraft or bicycle rental, which is a great pity. A path leads around the lake, suggest taking the northern shore which does not parallel a fairly busy road.

I liked Lake Bled a lot, but Lake Bohinj is more beautiful if you ask me. Besides it is less touristy than Bled, although still touristy. The water is extremely clear and there are ducks, fish, birds.... more

Nice calm and relaxing place. Not as crowded as lake bled. Highly recommend for family picnics.

Very beautiful lake at around 30 min drive from Bled. Water is crystal clear. This lake is in its prestine condition. Pics says it all.

Speechless! The view is breathtaking! Before I came to Slovenia, I wanted to visit Bled lake but when I went to Bohinj. The city itself is so cute and the lake is amazing!!! Further you drive more private you are. Although I went in spring but the water is still a little cold which is so refreshing

Awesome, quiet, peacefull place with the huge mountains surrounding the area. Even if the weather was very rainy, the lake had it's own magic. Unfortunatly we did not take a boat ride but I'm pretty sure from the water the view is also beautiful. Watch out of the ducks they cross the street and it is helpfull not to drive fast ! Highly recommend !

Approximately 30 minutes driving from Bled and has views of the mountain and church. On a hot day, you can swim, kayak, SUP, sun bathe or just relax and enjoy the view. It’s way bigger than lake bled, but not as blue.
