Divača Cave, Divača

Beautiful place, not crowded at all. You will see impressive crystal form with interesting stories behind. The entry is only 12€ per adult for 2 hours guided tour. Take warm clothes, as it is really cold inside. We were lucky to have Katja as a guide. She managed our tour in Slovenian and English. She has really fascinating stories and she tells them with so much passion. It was great, thank you Katja!!! After visiting that cave we did not want to visit anything else, as it was truly satisfying.

An interesting place if you like this sort of stuff. The tickets aren't that expensive. But be carefull on the junction on the main road when entering and leaving the road to the cave.

I visit a place near the divaška jama, where the cave collapsed in and left a big whole - very interesting.

A well hidden, but quite an impressive cave. Tourists can access 2/3 of it at the moment though (August 2022). You have to buy the tickets directly from the guide. She was pretty knowledgeable and her entire speech was in English only. The tour lasted about 1.5 hours. Please make sure to bring some warm clothes with you! (3-5°C) The cave has some steeper parts, but nothing too physically exhausting. We paid 40€ as a family of four. There was a lot of people, so the ones in the back couldn't have possibly heard the speech, but the biggest problem was the lighting. The lights were shining directly into our faces instead of the ground, which made us go blind a couple of times, so it was difficult to walk. Overall, good.

Grate cave, not so commercial, as open only few times a week. With one guide and small group you got the feeling of private visit.
