Scurek, Dobrovo

Very good wines degustation. 7 wines tried with cheese and prosciutto for 25€ per person including cellar visit and it was great. For me the wine winners are best Rumena Rebula and Sivi Pinot. The owner was not focused enaugh and explanation about wine was better elswhere.

Wine tasting is composed with the trip trough wine cellar where one of the owners will tell you about the cellar and wines. After you will go to the house where you will taste 7 wines (20€/person) with a simple snack. The view from the house is amazing and also the wines are. At the end you can buy some wines. After 7 wines you should have a driver.

Arrived at 3pm for a guided tour. A short but interesting tour in the cellar of Scurek. We got a lot of extra information about the wine and the production. The tasting had about 10 wines. Which is certainly enough. Meanwhile we had a great chat with the winemaker. Great family! PS: bring a backpack to buy some wine.

Highly recommended for a wine tasting, also, their oldest son Primož is such a great host, makes you feel really welcome. Their wines are delicious, make sure to bring a bottle or two with you when leaving Brda.
