Joining a guided tour was the wise thing to do since the structure is a mix&match kept together by various eu projects. The lack of a red line narrative keeps you guessing at best.

Very big building, enormous to be honest (the biggest castle in Slovenija), the building in reinovated, (just some parts) but people there are really trying I strongly recomanted visit, ant tour...

One of the nicest castle in Slovenia, where you can find a lot of interesting informations about crafts that too a part in a history in this area. Partly renewed but still you can see 800 years old historical bases. Very small fee to enter (4€) for adult. Grate place to take photos and as well good time to spent in.

Biggest castle in Slovenia. I give it 4 stars as it is still under construction and as it has potential to improve. But if you are in this area, you should visit it.

A pretty big castle with a few small exhibits on local craft, the history of the castle, art, local nature... The admission fee is affordable and you can walk the ground floor and second floor od the castle.
