    The lace school started operating in Idrija in 1876. The first teacher was Ivana Ferjančič (1850-1879) from Idrij. Today, about 400 students attend the lace school as an interesting activity. In addition, the school offers various forms of education for adults. Her greatest merit is in successfully maintaining knowledge of more demanding techniques. Today you can see various laces on display in the lace school. The exhibition is suitable for both children and adults.
