The history of Lipica begins in the 16th century and is intertwined with the history of the Habsburgs. The court stud farm was developed in the abandoned summer residence of the Bishop of Trieste. Today the estate is traversed by tree-lined routes fronted by sculptured portals and lined with white wooden fences that separate the horses from traffic. Beautiful horses and surroundings! Due to lack of time, have been only able to enjoy caressing those beautiful horses outside. Very calming and enjoyable! It’s a must do experience 🐴🤗🇸🇮 Next time going to spend a weekend at their hotel!

We had a great experience in the farm with a 15 mins (€20) carriage ride on top of the farm entrance including the museum. The staff is so friendly & helpful. The multi option guided tour is certainly a bonus.

Really nice and organized farm with lots of interesting things to see. Horse show worth seeing! Only bad experience is with fast food tent in front of the entrance. Poorly organized, not very friendly to each other which is not professional in front of the guests. Food is not very tasty as well. Would recommend some additional food service since hotel restaurant is more high class.

If you like horses and nature, this is the place to be. There is accommodation and restaurant on site should you want to spend more than a day here. Perfect place for children as well, the park is big and there is a playground.

Not so experiential. Its very expensive if you want entrance to complex. But there Is also free park and if you are lucky you can see horses too.
