Ljubljana Central Market, Ljubljana

Lovely place! With a chilled atmosphere and super friendly people. I recommend to drink a coffee and just watch the market. I found super tasty Sauerkraut, fruits and vegetables, dried fruits and nuts and a dough roll with spinach. (Perfect snach for on the train ride)

A beautiful market with an excellent variety of fresh produce, meat, Fruits and veggies, beautiful flowers and tulips, and some clothes. We loved the jams, marmalades and honey variety. There were more than 10 different types of apples on sale! Great atmosphere and an ample of choices... We ended up coming again the next day for specialty coffee and more Mandarins. The passion fruit was delicious and the pear marmalade is a must try!

The central Market was a cool place to be visit as many stalls where present around the square selling fruits & veggies but also souvenirs and clothing. We didn’t buy anything, but we like to see those flea market This was design by Jože Plečnik in 1931 and is located on the Vodnikov trg and Pogačarnev trg squares

Great market - local products. From vegetables out in the open, to the deli indoors. To even a wider range of stall holders along the river, there are many friendly locals to chat with and to give you samples. Wonderful to people watch as well. Don't be afraid to try and talk to them. Cash only of course.

If you love farmers markets this is incredible. Purchased propolis boil, honey, beet drops and honestly was cool. Bought some local apples and Ruby oranges. Vendors let me taste fermented cabbage juice and honey brandy. Avoid tourist stores buy some local produce.
