  • Such a marvelous historic place without service! Vine is nice but too expensive. Worth visiting due to selfie photo and that's it!

  • We bought fantastic slovenia orange wine, after a little wine-tasting with a very good advice from the staff. Great experience.

  • We visited spontaniously this place in Maribor on our way bay home to Hungary. It is amazing to know that the world’s oldest living vine is about 400 years old and it is in Slovenia very close to the Hungarian border. We took part in a small wine-tasting session, too. It was an excellent program. I advise you to discover the old town of Maribor. It is super cozy and cute to take a walk there. And the Old Vine House is also very close to the city centre.
  • Excellent local wine with a wide variety of choices and a knowledgeable, friendly staff. I highly recommend! While you can’t drink wine made directly from the world’s oldest grapevine, you can drink and buy wine from the descendant vines.
  • Wines quite okay. Some good some bad. But it's more like a shop than winery house. Very little description of the wine, we could read those Information form the battles. It would be nice to hear more about this place and wine from this Country.
  • Came to Maribor on our return trip and stopped here thinking you can drink wine from the oldest grape vine in the world. Get here to be told it is reserved only for special gifting from the mayor to people such as the president, not for the common folk. They have many other wines to sample from however, not really being a wine person, did not try them.
  • Extremely rude staff who should learn how to behave and interact with human beings. For shame...
