Triglav (pronounced [ˈtɾiːɡlau̯]; German: Terglau; Italian: Tricorno), with an elevation of 2,863.65 metres (9,395.2 ft), is the highest mountain in Slovenia and the highest peak of the Julian Alps. The mountain is the pre-eminent symbol of the Slovene nation. It is the centrepiece of Triglav National Park, Slovenia's only national park. Triglav was also the highest peak in Yugoslavia before Slovenia's independence in 1991.

We came out from Triglavski dom na Kredarici to Triglav quite late, after 5pm. On the top we were only us and few more people. It was amazing, not crowded and the view was spectacular.

Went on Triglav on saturday. It was lovely weather so there was a lot of people. As lover of hiking I was a little bit disappointed. I did my Slovenian duty so no need to go back :)

It took us 6h to reach the top of Triglav from Dolina Krma to Planika and then to Triglav. At the top it was awesome but as always there were a lot of people so you need to wait in line for a picture. Good hiking route

Walking to the top is a dream. Amazing place. Super stunning views, well mark paths and the via Ferrata is super fun. 10/10

Even though we had only a short 2 hour walk in the Triglav park - absolutely gorgeous mountains and will definitely visit again to climb the mountain itself.

Great via ferrata path from Dom na Kredarici. Crowded during weekend which stops the trip, but not so diffcult. Accesories for via ferrata and helmet recommended. View from the top - amazing!!
