  • This museum is only open from time to time - so need to check. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, and one of Tartini's violins is on display.

  • The Memorial Room is a fitting tribute to Piran's most famous citizen. Modest entry fee. Closed Mondays. Open 9am to midday and open again at 6pm. Great staff member Domen Erseg was 'top', so full of....  more

  • On the Tartini square there is the house where Giuseppe Tartini was born. There is a small memorial room in the house with his violin, piano.

  • A very interesting mini-museum. The entrance is a bit unusual, one does not know where exactly to go. A friendly lady, a local, sells tickets and at the same time tells a lot about Tartini and life in Piran. I recommend.
  • It's been a while. House with memorial room for Giuseppe Tartini. Unfortunately it was closed. Unusual opening hours, from 9am to 12pm and from 6pm to 9pm. Monday is closed.
  • There are not many things to see.
  • Tartini's birthplace is an underutilized Piranha attraction. Admittedly, it is located next to Tartini square and opposite the virtuoso's monument, where almost all tourists and other visitors stop and take photos, but only a few of them, as well as the locals passing by on errands, turn into it. The commemorative collection alone is worth a visit, but above all, we should make more use of Tartini's violin, which according to the rules of the profession should not just be a museum exhibit, but should be used REGULARLY as an instrument - i.e. played on it.
  • A museum dedicated to the life of the famous composer 🙂
