  • An incredible tour around the secret bunker under the hotel, with an excellent and enthusiastic guide, Kevin. I don't want to give any spoilers, but simply say you have to go on this tour...

  • We were on a day tour and the castle, cave, and lunch were included. We had lunch at the hotel Jama. Very nice and clean. The food was a fixed menu and we paid separate for our drinks. Staff was very courteous and prompt. Restrooms very clean and the hotel decor was comforting and inviting. The food was adequate, nothing special, but we left with our stomachs satisfied. It was nice not to have to find a place to eat and use the restroom. The drinks were priced on the high side in my opinion. Atmosphere was relaxing and we weren’t in a crowd. Large open seating area. This hotel is part of a very large complex with smaller eateries, souvenir shops, public restrooms, ample parking (below), children’s play area, well maintained walking paths and stairs, near the cave entrance. The whole area was integrated and very well planned out to handle larger crowds.
  • Very comfortable, modern hotel. The comfort room is spacious with a lovely view of the mountains. I had a wonderful night's sleep as the mattress and bedding is perfect. The bathroom is a bit odd, with a curtain for privacy, but as a couple this is just fine. The restaurant is good with two vegetarian options, in the least it's the best in town. Definitely visit the secret rooms, it's extremely unique and very interesting! Minor suggestions for improvement: a kettle and an adjustable height shower head would be nice to have.
  • Beautiful, modern rooms and friendly stuff. I have no complaints as we enjoyed our stay very much. However, I would NOT recommend this hotel to enyone with disability or trouble walking. There is quite a long way to take from parking lot to hotel entrance. I was walking with crutches because of broken leg and it wasn't easy to reach the car. There is a road that leads right to the entrance, but it is blocked and lady at the reception (not very friendly, either) told us it is not possible to use it.
  • We came across this place by shear luck. We were driving back from Croatia and decided to split the journey up and visit the caves. What a great surprise, the hotel was excellent, very nice room (family) great breakfast. And the cave tour was wonderful. Highly recommended.
  • Hotel jama is perfectly located right next to the Postojna cave and a short drive away from the Predjama castle. The superior room was comfortable and spacious, with a nice view, a balcony and a spacious bathroom. We only got 1 small bottle of shower gel which was disappointing, no shampoo or conditioner was provided. There was also no kettle in the room which is usually a standard in a 4* hotel. The restaurant is ok but nothing special. The food taste was mediocre and the selection is not amazing, especially for vegetarians. The breakfast was also ok but not particularly good either. The secret rooms were a very nice addition to our stay. It was a very interesting experience to see them, however they seem to be very overpriced at 15 eur per person. I think it should be free of charge for hotel guests. It's a shame the hotel doesn't have a spa or a pool, without it there's not that much to do in the hotel.
