Sikalu ZOO, Radenci

Very clean zoo. A smaller zoo, but still very interesting, beautiful and child-friendly. The staff is very friendly and smiling, they take good care of the animals. The paths are very nicely arranged, it is possible to feed and pet the animals. Some animals also roam freely. There are also children's playgrounds, very nice and imaginatively made. Drinks are also provided (various vending machines - including coffee). Unfortunately the bar didn't work, probably because we visited the zoo during the week. The souvenir shop was also closed. It only operates on weekends - this was written on the door. Very nice terrarium. Impressive. Everything was beautiful and we had a wonderful trip.

Very nice ZOO. Pleasantly surprised by the number of animals. We were there one weekend in March, only issue was that the ZOO restaurant/shop were closed. Apparently they open from April. Also bring cash with you, paying with card inside is not possible(only on vending machines), also you can buy ticket only with cash..

They didn't let us in. It was supposedly open, but the door was locked. We rang at the house but the person in the house saw us and ignored us, went on a smoke on the other side of the house. I understand when things are unexpectedly closed, but that has to be communicated with costumers. We were 2 families with kids, we spend half an hour just trying to figure out if it is open or what is going on.

Great place for young families. You can pet some animals, can feed some others, plenty of playgrounds.

Very nice zoo with surprising amount of exotic animals. :) Mini-goats, sheeps, rabbits, and diverse funny birds are running around you and seeking attention (food) while you're watching other animals.
