Museum of Pharmacy and Alchemy, Radovljica

We have visited many musea claiming to be an alchemy/Pharmacy museum, but none reached the splendor of this museum. We were greeted by a very enthusiastic host, and the atmosphere is incredible. The collection is great and gives the right impression on how the world of medicine has started. You should ask for the little quizbook, which brings in just that extra level of interaction and teaches you just that little extra.. A wonderful experience, and highly recommended..

Fascinating museum with varied displays tracing the histories of alchemy, pharmacy and esoterica. A nice range of objects and fun activity trail / puzzles (for slightly older children).

The museum is really nice and you can get your alchemist certificate answering some trivia questions. It's ideal for families and you can easily spend a couple of hours with kids. It's almost an escape-room experience and we highly recommend it. Anika, who manages the museum, provided all information being the most kind host!

This museum is a new one and one of a kind in Slovenia. The owners are father and daughter and they are enthusiastic about their collection. They have gathered so many historical pieces and arranged them so wonderfully that they appear alive. Yoh can really feel their enthusiasm en energy. They also make their own concoctions and cosmetic as well. I plan to visit once more as I like it so much.

Nice little museum with a big soul:) a vary nice collection of pharmacy flasks and other instruments. History of pharmacy from around the world with a room dedicated to alchemy. Originally equipped. With a small shop of homemade ointments.
