  • On the way down the Vrsic pass, stop at the cabin (great cheese strudel) and walk to start of Soča river. Nice walk, at the end with help of cable. Beautiful color of the cave lake - source of Soča...

  • Nice place. Friendly and nice. Delicious food and beer. Prices are bit higher than expected for what you get on the table compared to Germany or Austria. Perfect after that way up to that river source which is a really amazing walk and climb. It's only 15min if you are fit. But close to the source it gets bit tricky and you should have good shoes and two hands free. Careful with children and less sporty people - slippery ground.
  • Great place, they have gibanica cakes, coffee, beer and some hot dishes. Prices are ok, €1.5 for a coffee. There's a large seating area plus extra picnic tables across the small bridge. Great place to relax after visiting the spring.
  • Great home-made Apple strudel and coffee after the exciting hike to the Soča spring (its a bit tricky and you need good hiking boots, which they dont mention).
  • Small, cozy hut in a beautiful setting with the soothing sound of the river constantly in the background. Hosts were kindhearted. Food was very good. We stayed overnight sitting out a rain storm. The short trail to the origin of the Soca is worth exploring as are the trail that head down river to Trenta.
  • The place is usually less crowded in the morning. The food was OK. I really reccomended taking a walk to the nearby ending of Trenta valley (road that crosses the bridge just by this place), it takes just a few minutes to see beautiful Alpine scenery of mountains and typical alpine huts.
