    Little hill in Tolmin. Suitable for a short family walk (about a 30-minute walk). At the top, the ruins of the castle and a wonderful view over the Soča valley.

    This hill, with a pleasant view of Tolmin, is reacheble via a dirt path, which can also be used by non-experts. It's about 30-40 minutes of walking.

    Nice walk up the castle, takes about 20-30 minutes each way. There is some parking on the road that goes round the mountain but not a lot. We went on a rainy day so it was very quiet, with beautiful views of the valley through the wispy clouds.

    This is a special place, and the hike up 500m climb in 30 minutes) is totally worth it. You can see the entire valley from here, and the points of interest in the hike up are neat. Do this while in Tolmin.

    Nice walk up to the cone and excellent view around the valley. If you happen to fly gliders, then the view is of course less of a reason to go there but still a good activity on an unflyable day.
