Create an itinerary including Igidae Park
Take a peaceful stroll along the dramatic, rugged coastal scenery at Igidae Park, located on the outskirts of the city. The modern high-rises across the bay stand in stark contrast to the weathered cliffs and bright blue sea. Multiple viewing platforms placed strategically along the trail provide panoramic views of the bay and ocean, peppered with expressive islets. You'll need to navigate some steep inclines and stairs; those with mobility issues may not find this a suitable excursion. Use our Busan route planner to visit Igidae Park on your trip to Busan, and learn what else travelers and our writers recommend seeing nearby.

  • Lovely scenic place to wander and get away from the rat race. Views aver the ocean are spectacular. Bit steep in parts but well worth it for the views.

  • We walked from the UN War Memorial to our start point at Igidae Seopjari, which took around half an hour or so. There is no entrance fee for the walk which is great. We did the full 4.7km walk from...

  • It's a great hike if you're up for a challenge. You can walk about 2 miles to the other end, but it's full of up and down climbs, most of which is with actual steps, but a decent chunk on rocks. You get to enjoy fantastic views and the beauty of the coastline. It's amazing how clear the water is. Don't forget to bring water to drink because you'll need to start hydrated because of the steps.
  • This is a must visit if you are in Busan. It's a really scenic hike along the coast, not too long and is shady. There are numerous spots for looking out and taking pictures as well. It's also pretty well connected to public transit. Would recommend checking this out, can even go into the water on one of the beaches here.
  • I highly recommend this hike! The view is amazing. Wear comfortable shoes. We started out from the skywalk (other end) and took us about 3-4 hours with lots of stops for pictures.
  • Stunning views of the coast and the beach. Not a terribly crowded path and well worth the time, although if you’re not expecting the incline close to the end of the trail, you might be surprised by the stairs! Take a bottle of water with you; there’s only one spot to buy more, and if the day is warm you’ll definitely want it!
  • If you like hiking, it will be a great place for you. I came early at around 7 in the morning and the view was so beautiful. It may take about 2 hours to come from the starting point to the finish line
