Juwangsan National Park, Cheongsong-gun

Beautiful river trails and waterfalls! Trail well shaded for the most part. Readily accessible for all ages, clean and well kept. There is also a market avenue before the trailhead so you can get drinks and snacks before you head up! Buses go all the way and there is a temple at the start that adds to the historical value of the visit!

RECOMMENDED: one of the most beautiful nature attractions I have seen in Asia. I got here from Andong bus terminal and got back on the last bus at 17:40. This park features three stunning waterfalls, a magnificent view, and a very well taken care of trail with English names. I started at the temple down below and too the right path to the first peak. It took me about 1:50 but according to the guide it should take 2:30. The way was beautiful with several stations to enjoy the view and drink some water. Going down I passed by a cave where, according to the story, an accent Chinese king once escaped to! The mountain is thus named after him! At the end I got to see two beautiful waterfalls of which one was a double folded waterfall, an amazing sight I have seen for the first time in my life. Down at the town are plenty of restaurants. Be sure to try the local apple wine, which is sold in yellow bottles. It is absolutely delicious!

It is a famous mountain that you must visit during the peak of autumn leaves. It was snowing hard in the Fallen Leaves Palace♡♡

The view from the top of Juwangsan Juwangsan is amazing. The Grand Canyon was in Cheongsong, not the United States. You can't capture the feeling in a photo, so be sure to go to the top. We recommend the 3 hour and 30 minute course that goes up and down near the 3 waterfalls.
