  • Nice boat trip and walk through the forest and waterfalls to this small temple.
  • I love the serenity of the place. The atmosphere is very peaceful, calm and relaxed. It is good for meditation, hiking, exercise, picnic and chilling with friends and family. The falls and the temple is very beautiful and clean. There are also restaurants and souvenirs stores around. It is very accessible by public transportation and the people are friendly. You will not get lost. A must visit place in Chuncheon-si. The best.
  • Absolutely gorgeous mountain temple. The hiking trail to the peak gets pretty tough higher up, including many near vertical sections of rock face with ropes to pull yourself up. But the view is incredible and very much worth the effort.
  • The journey to get to this temple is unbelievably beautiful. Take a taxi or city-tour bus up to the damn and walk down some stairs to catch the ferry to the temple. There are several vendors selling various dishes at the foot of the trail that are worth checking out and taking in the scenery. The hike up to the temple is filled with Japanese Maples, tiny waterfalls, and statute, which tell a story of the mythical creatures that used to inhabit the land. Like others have said, the temple is not anything that will knock-your-socks-off, but the journey to reach it is very special.
  • Very pretty, but overrun with tourists. The temple is a bit of a hike, but worth it. Too many coffee shops, and too much litter.
