Nami Island, Chuncheon

Nice place. Great for children. You can see many animals here, like peacocks, ostriches, rabbits, and cute baby rabbits, as well as many birds. The island is very well organized and kept clean. It is nice to walk between the trees and sit and just relax. I wouldn't come here especially, but if you are in the area, definitely come visit.

A small island, approximately an hours drive from Seoul, another beautiful place. South Korea continues to amaze, beautiful place, well kept and one of the myst visit places. Superb place for a day family outing. Adventure activities for kids, bungee jumping, zip line, water sports, fountains, souvenir shopping, open spaces, greenery, fish ponds, kids library…….you name it and they have it. Having read so much about the place and seen so many beautiful images, we planned to visit the place, to watch the beautiful fall colors. We were simply amazed with the way the entire island has been maintained. It is a 3-5 minute ferry ride from the mainland, ferries are big and spacious and the short ride is enjoyable. If one likes adventure another way to reach the island is through a zip line. There are lockers to keep unwanted stuff which one may carry. very good food joints, lots of variety from Korean to Italian to snacks. The island offers adventure activities for kids. There are cycles available on rent, unfortunately water activities were closed. In all a must visit place during all 4 seasons.

Beautiful park during fall, the different types of tree makes it so colorful! I've never seen such a beautiful mix of yellow, orange, and red. The park is not huge, you can visit it entirely in less than two hours. There are a lot of different restaurants to eat lunch, and you can also rent a bike on the island to visit freely! This island is definitely worth it in fall! However, I'm not sure if the park is that much pretty in winter without the leaves on the trees

We came to this place via hiring a taxi. They dropped us by the ferry and we take the ferry across. The ferry is clean and beautiful and it is nice to visit this place in winter. There is no crowd at all but cold. The island is beautiful and u do need several hours to visit the island. As we did not join tour group, we just walk along the river side. The scenary to us is something to treasure. Frozen lakes, snow, peacock, rabbits etc. Wish we could stay here for a night or so to enjoy the calmness of the area. Definitely worth a visit.

I love this place. Been here during spring, where I've seen lots of beautiful tulips. Trees were everywhere. All areas are instagrammable. And now, I'm back, autumn season and It's FANTASTIC!! The weather is cold. The play of Autumn colors makes the place so lovely.
