Saseongam Temple 四聖庵, Gurye-gun

Beautiful view. When I was there the others had to park the car at the entrance and take a shuttle bus up from the parking lot, with a litle hike up to the temple. One part of the temple is under repair with scaffold - written in November 2019. The view of the temple is even more breathtaking if you have a drone that looks from up the sky.

Beautiful views, and a pretty elevated style temple. Great spot for sunset, and one of the spots where people take off for paragliding flights in the summer. For the adventurous hikers, keep going up, and follow the path along the ridge running behind the highest view point. It’s a really beautiful (but exposed!) hike. You can keep following the ridge for an hour or so. The exits come down to a hill road that ends near the famous river walkway bridge after about another hour.

The view from the top is very beautiful. You can see all sides at once, and see Mt. Jirisan, Seomjin River, and Gurye fields. The statue of ‘Standing Stone Buddha’ is very mysterious and ‘Wish Rock’ is very interesting. The wish rock has a legend that it makes a wish come true. So you must make a wish in front of the wish rock.⁷

Must visit place in Gurea. You can feel enough Zen!

Must visit place when you plan to go to Jiri mountain or Seomjin river area. Because you can get there with easy to see fantastic scenery.
