  • This is an excellent and free museum. There is a huge range of artefacts, very well presented. Be aware there are no refreshments inside the halls. Use the cafe in the grounds.

  • Gyeongju National Museum isn’t that large but the quality makes up for the lack of quantity. The curators did a fantastic job of setting up the displays that make the Silla-era treasures look...

  • What a nice museum! It involves several buildings that follow the traditional style, each containing its own exhibition. There are lots of interesting artifacts, which is why it can take maybe 3 hours to visit it completely. And it's also free!
  • Hello all tourists. This museum is the best place. You can see various treasures of Shilla Kingdom, also it is free entrance. I guess it takes 5 hours to look around, you will absolutely enjoy. Never miss this place.
  • Great place! Lot's of exhibits. Can easily spend 3-4h here. Beautiful surroundings too. The museum consists of several separate buildings. I didn't get to see them all but based on what I saw, definitely would be nice. Also the closing times varies from day to day. I believe they close as late as 9pm on Wednesdays.
  • Very nice museum and good restaurant. For the museum you don't have to pay. The restaurant compared with the food outside a little bit more expensive, but realy worth it. About the souveniers this is a bit expensive, but on the other hand the museum is for free and you can stay there for more than 5 hours and you haven't seen it all.
  • Great museum with a lot of funerary items and data from the Silla (시라?) dynasty, who ruled about 1/3 of the entire Korean Peninsula for quite a while, and became so powerful they eventually took over the entire peninsula at one point.
