Enjoy some fresh air at the mountaintop Namsan Park, one of the city's most popular areas for strolling, picnicking, and relaxing. Make your way up to the top of the 262 m (860 ft) peak via cable car to take in sweeping views over the capital's urban sprawl. Go for a leisurely wander around the network of walking paths crisscrossing the park and meandering through the area's wooded landscape. You'll find sport facilities for badminton, tennis, swimming, baseball, and more around the park, as well as a botanical garden, library, and cultural center. Namsan Tower and Namsam (Nam Mountain). Went hiking up Namsan which is located within the Jung-Yu district of south central Seoul. Took about 40 minutes up with a couple of breaks to enjoy the view. Along the way there were a couple of cherry blossoms trees and tulips blossoming. There are many locals who hike or cycle here. Our highest hill in Singapore is Bukit Timah Hill at about 164m and located kinda out of the way. Namsan is centrally located with multiple entry points and plus their 4 seasons. I’m sure apart from winter, the locals would be enjoying the walk up and down in the evenings. Traveling allows me to see the difference my country has vs what other country has, the pros and the cons. I definitely appreciate the pros and while I accept the cons (because no choice), it really helps to widen one’s perspective.

Great views of the city from here and easy to get to with a hike or the bus.

The view is beautiful, especially at night. However getting on the mountain and later on the tower is pretty expensive.

One of my best experience 🌹

Seoul has many beautiful parks, but the best one in my opinion is Namsan Park. Located in the heart of the city, this park offers breathtaking views of the surrounding skyline. The park is vast and offers a diverse range of activities for visitors of all ages, from hiking and picnicking to admiring the beautiful flora and fauna. One of the highlights of Namsan Park is the Namsan Tower, which provides panoramic views of the city from its observation deck. The park is also a popular spot for romantic couples and is a must-visit for anyone visiting Seoul. Whether you're looking for a peaceful escape from the city or a fun day out, Namsan Park has something for everyone. Overall, it's a must-visit destination in Seoul and is truly one of the city's gems.
