We have hiked the wall in previous visits and hiked the Bugaksan Mountain portion this year. They have loosened entrance restrictions but still need to wear a badge, handing it in at the end of this..... more

The wall itself is absolutely incredible. It also gave great views as we walked up. We didn’t make it all the way up to the top as it was getting late. It is a nice break from the bustling city . It looks really pretty as the got dark too. The history it speaks of is just so fascinating.

This is the nearest “away from the crowd and urban stuff” getaway you can get in Seoul. It starts right at the Dongdaemun roundabout. As you walk further up the wall, you would be rewarded with nice view, chill cafes and a slow pace of life. After the walk up and down, you can visit the Dongdaemun Design Plaza to immerse in arts and enjoy some serenity.

Less touristy, nice to combine with Mural Village. Some nice views. Historic wall is interesting, but there are better sectors to explore.

Nice view and super windy. It's hard to come. If you will come please drive a small car here, it's better than walk.
