Enjoy clear water and white sand at Aucanada Beach. Take in the view across the bay as you walk along the coastline. Swim or walk through the shallows to the lighthouse from the beach, or snorkel in the blue water. Make sure to check the local fauna reports for jellyfish during the summer, though this is not normally a problem. Lie on the sand to tan, or rent a beach chair that comes with a parasol for shade. There are plenty of restaurants and beach bars as well, with occasional live music in the evenings. If you see a big ferry pulling into the port, make sure to move your things from the water’s edge, as the waves can come up on the beach and soak your belongings.
