Spectacular,

Some beautiful caves close to home. The tour lasts about 50 minutes. You have to go down quite a few stairs but everything is very well signposted and illuminated. The guide is very nice and they explain everything very well. Suitable for all kinds of ages. Highly recommended.

The (guided) tour costs €9 per adult, and groups are limited. Some warm clothing and comfortable shoes are recommended, since inside some of the cave rooms the temperature drops to 9-10°. The visit lasts approximately 60 minutes, and the guide, who is very nice and you can tell he likes what he does, explains many things about the cave, from its geological origin, to the different rock formations, legends, uses, inhabitants... the visit is very educational and great for children (I would say from 4-5 years old). Before reaching the cave there is a parking area and the reception, where you can get your tickets, go to the toilet, have a coffee and observe some of the fossils and animal remains that have been found in the cave. From there to the cave there are about three minutes of climbing along a beautiful path surrounded by trees (the landscape is amazing). On the website it is recommended to go 10-15 minutes in advance to avoid waiting. Not recommended for people with reduced mobility.
