    The castle itself is not particularly worth seeing , it’s all about the view, which is spectacular, you can see up the coast for miles and inland across the flat fields near Pals to the mountains...

    Walked through Begur in earlY morning. Nice walk, good exercise, a few others walking too. When you reach the top great vista's. Castle isn't much to see, just for the views. Explanation in English....  more

    Stunning views from a brilliant little castle. Definitely worth the walk up the hill. Accessibility is limited as the car park is situated at the bottom of the hill nearer the town.

    Steep climb from the town centre but worth it for the panoramic views. The town is worth a visit too. The streets were immaculate buildings a joy and the market was fun

    Woweeeeee! What a view! Stroll through pretty Begur, get some tapas, have a beer, then do the gentle stroll up hill to see the incredible panoramic views from the Castell. So worth it. We could see snow on the mountains in the distance.

    Wonderful views with a slice of history. A little of of the beaten path, expect a fairly steep climb. Crumbling in places, so watch your step. A fun adventure for small children.
