Once the residence of a Moorish viceroy, Jardines de Alfabia now represents a cultural monument of outstanding beauty. The complex includes a house, gardens, and orchard, approached by a wide avenue flanked by tall plane trees. Although the house displays many Roman-Andalusian elements of architecture, you'll also recognize Gothic, Arabic, Renaissance, Baroque, and Rococo influences. You can take a sneak peak through a virtual tour of the house and gardens, available on the website. If you're planning to visit during a real-life vacation, remember that the complex welcomes visitors between April and October. See the website for exact dates and opening hours. Beautyfull plants, flowers, birds, nice coffee, lots of shade so no dying in the sun. Quiet, plenty nice places for pictures, a bit of history in a small museum. Lots of birds, ponds with fish, goats.

The gardens are easy to reach via bus from Porto soller. The bus leaves you just outside the entrance to the gardens. The gardens are fantastic with lots of lovely old wisterias and palms.

Wonderful garden 🪴 with a lot of nice plants 🌱 I was especially impressed by the bamboo forest and the area about the lake. Getting to the Park from Palma with public transport (bus) was easy and in a weekday the park wasn’t busy even though I spent many hours in the garden. Once again I went back with my boyfriend, it was easy to park and the visiting experience was great - I noticed many things and details what I didn’t realize in my first visit 🎋

I went to this garden on my last day in Majorca and I must say it was my favourite part of the trip altogether! There was ample shade during the hot season (very hard to find at many other tourist attractions) and the history of the house was very descriptive and interesting. Absolutely stunning place.

It was a nice experience, but quite a small garden and their cafe was closed. It is well looked after and somewhat educational, but I expected a bit more from it. It took us less than an hour to walk around and had to wait for the return bus to Sòller for an hour.

Really nice garden with all the native Spanish breed plants like orange, lemon, palm trees etc. The building is with full of history of Mallorca and Spain. There is a few euros entry fee, parking is free. Some sample fruit as a farewell gift would have been a nice gesture.

We spent a lovely two hours here, incl 20mins in the cafe gardens. Well worth the €8 entry. Easy to reach on the 204 bus from Soller/Palma. The bus stop is right outside the entrance, you just walk past the restaurant and up the tree lined slope. The garden is set over many levels, mainly with slopes but there are some steps to negotiate. It is extremely well tended, a really clever natural irrigation system and a variety of plants, shrubs, trees and wildlife. The frogs were busy croaking, a few koi, some goats, sheep, turkey, chickens and lots of birds. When you reach the bottom of the garden, do look up to the sky and you may be lucky enough to see a red kite which was circling overhead. The toilets next to the cafe were spotlessly clean, there are also toilets next to the ticket office. You reach the small house at the end of the garden trail with some interesting historic items. There is a QR code for the guide in several languages. The coffee was good, the panadas were not so nice! Mainly cakes, pastries, Crisps, hot and cold drinks. But a lovely place to sit out and relax. If you are in the area then I would recommend you visit here. Even in early April there is enough to see. Check out my pics!
