Tierra Rapaz, Calahorra

Ideal place to be with the hole family, children and adults will be happy here. Place of conservation and study of "birds of prey" in a marvellous and little unknown land, La Rioja. They have the best wine from Spain in this region but not only, you can also find hidden jewels like "Tierra Rapaz". The place is large, with two bird exhibits, day and night prey birds, worthy of the best zoos all-over the world. The love and affection they have for the birds can be seen in each place of the enclosure. A must-see if you're in northern Spain.

Tierra Rapaz is a Shelter for birds. Especially predators like Hawks of all kinds aswell as eagels, stitches, and many more. They take birds in that wouldn't survive in the wild and train them ,very well if I might add. The whole team is very friendly, and most of them speak good English. This place is well worth the visit. For both hound and old. It's an amazing experience. The have a fantastic and very impressive Show, and let you come into real up close contact with the birds. Don't expect anything fancy though. Just allot off new and amazing experiences. I would recommend anyone to go there without hesitation!

Incredible time seeing the eagles and owls. Total fun for the entire family. Highly recommend and would come again. It’s only in Spanish

Loved it. Very enjoyable experience. The staff is professional and enthusiastic about their work. It's a perfect way to spend a Sunday, a spectacular show and direct contact with the animals.
