    Fab beach and the sea is so clear and clean it's amazing. Beach is tiny stones so no sand to get everywhere and easy to walk on etc. Lovely fish to see when swimming or snorkeling.

    Playas de Calella offers a clean beach and some nice spots for great pictures. The day we were there was a bit grey but we had a nice time walking while enjoying the views.

    We travelled in mid October and had glorious sunshine daily. It was warm enough for shorts and t-shirts and to sunbathe on the beach's between around 11am and 5pm. Night time temperatures were around....  more

    It is a real nice beach. It has many restaurants and cafes. It is very sunny. I have not found public restrooms, so used that of cafes. Water is really nice there.

    This place is our favorite spot along the Costa Brava. The water was perfect, the food was perfect, the scenery was perfect. Would like to stay there for a week next time....

    You have been discovering Costa Brava and finally you reached the crown jewel of Baix Emporda, this one the old songs talk about. No place for disappointment, Calella is spectacular, cosy to the extreme, perfect mix of an ancient fishermen village and a mediterranean bay. The sand, the colors of the wooden boats lying on the beach, the timid scattered rocks, the smell of fideua. Costa Brava's best definition is Calella.

    Lovely, quaint, authentic little town with a string of beaches. However the staggering wealth of some of the tourists was rather intimidating.
