Create an itinerary including Monasterio de Sant Pere de Rodes
Often described as an unforgettable beauty, Monasterio de Sant Pere de Rodes is a 10th century monastery that stands watch over the sea. The structure is somewhat ruined, with just columns and the foundation intact, but the remaining portions still offer a striking visual. A modest museum on site offers more details and history about the area. There are plenty of chances for great photos, as you’ll find yourself high in the mountains surrounded by aromatic trees, with mist rising from the sea. There’s also a cafe here when you need refreshment. • We paid 8€ for a theatized guide it's more of a family thing, but we actually enjoyed it even though we didn't have a kid with us. The guide did a great job. She is so good with what she does. She was well informed. The place is so beautiful with a lot of history. The views from the top are breath taking. If you want to visit this place as a family and you want your kids to have fun during the tour. I recommend you pick the (guía theatrizada).
  • Wonderful place and views worth driving to. It costs 6€ (normal fee). It's closed on Mondays. Bookings can be done in advance.
  • Well worth the trip for the views. If you can walk to the castle too. Excellent restaurant for lunch but might be worth booking as coach trips use it.
  • Beautiful monastery, great audio guide. 10/10 should visit, has one of the best views I've ever seen.
  • One of the most magical places in the world! Photos from Piano recital august 2022 🎹
