Cap de Formentor, Formentor

Situated on the most northeastern point of the island, we slowly drove the winding roads and stopped at various lookout points in the area, which are all clearly marked. Once we got to the view of the lighthouse, the road was blocked by a fence, so we couldn’t go any further. However the panoramic views were breathtaking and well worth the short drive from Palma.

The lighthouse itself is okay, not great. But the view from there and the road to the lighthouse is a must. If you would like some astonishing photos try to reach sunset over here.

One of the most beautiful routes of the Balearic Islands leading to the very end of the northern part of the island with breathtaking views. The route is not easy and probably not for people with fear of heights. A narrow, winding road will lead you through a real geographic paradise and at the end the lighthouse will be a hard stop to come back from. A lot of mountain chamois on the route, so another highlight of the trip. It's absolutely worth it!

Great views. However road leading to Cap de Fermentor is closed. Have to walk the roads for 3.5km to get there. Reason being during spring, there will be alot of tourist and will make the place really crowded.

Lovely view. It's a must do thing in Palma. You can park your car, and from there you will take a bus.
