Pont de les Peixateries Velles - A remarkable architectural wonder: the Eiffel Bridge in Girona, Spain with a great view at the colourful houses at the Riverside. The Eiffel Bridge was constructed where four rivers meet. Girona has got eleven bridges!! The most famous is the one that was constructed by Gustave Eiffel - The Girona Steel Bridge (painted in Red) was built in 1876 by Gustav Eiffel, a French engineer with German roots.

There's several bridges that can take you across the Onyar River between the old and new sides of Girona. Most of them are pretty standard, but this one is unique with its red lattice frame. If you're crossing back and forth, you should at least make a point to take this footbridge at least once to check it out as well as views of the river.

It's one of the best views in Girona from where you can get many good pictures with its red metal structure. This bridge is catching eyes but you will find it always busy with everyone taking pictures of the city.
