  • Beautiful church with some very old vestments (17th Century) on display. The highly decorated organ is unusual. It is more interesting than most churches in this part of Spain.

  • Nice walk around the area outside and inside of the church. The architecture is wonderful and you'll learn about the culture.

  • Beautiful 🙂
  • I am totally against paying to enter any church, cathedral, castle and the like, but here, for a "donation" of 1 euro, you can go in and a man inside explains the entire church in detail. Very beautiful and very well preserved, it is worth visiting inside. It is a jewel.
  • Its spectacular tower stands out, which has an octagonal bell body and is crowned by a dome with a lantern. Also noteworthy is the main doorway with scenes of Calvary, imagery of the Apostles and the Eternal Father together with the Velasco shields. It is a plateresque style work. The decoration with candelieri, grotesques and garlands is made of stone and restored in 1999, a new sculptural style of Italian Renaissance style. We didn't go in to see it because it was closed, a shame because it must be very beautiful inside. The photos are from June 2013.
  • The entrance costs one euro but it is worth it to see the interior that is beautiful, you can enter the sacristy where there is a collection of mass wines from all countries and an old fountain where the priests washed their hands before starting the mass The man at the entrance is very nice and if you need him he acts as a guide and explains a lot of things about the church.
  • It is a beautiful church and there are volunteers who open the church for €1 and explain it to you. Even before entering, the Plateresque façade is striking. Inside you can see the altarpiece, which is wonderful, the circular sacristy and the organ. One of the most curious things is the collection of mass wines from various parts of the world, they have about 70 bottles from various different countries on display.
