  • Located in front of Santa María de los Reyes. Prismatic tower that was part of the defensive complex in the northern part of the town. Well restored, it retains all its medieval flavor. Access to its upper part is possible from where there are good views of the town and the surroundings. To access it, you must first go through the tourist office.
  • It is a tower-castle that served as a defense for the walls of the town, in the western part, behind the great castle and its towers, which defended the northern part of the town. With a square plan, in the image and likeness of those built in northern Italy and the Catalan Pyrenees at the dawn of the Romanesque. We can differentiate two periods in its construction and style. The first corresponds to a transitional Romanesque (late 12th century and early 13th century). The paired windows and the arch of the eastern façade belong to them. In the spandrels of the upper windows on the eastern side appears the image of the Savior, with Romanesque characteristics, and which was possibly used from another building. The second, dating from the 13th to the 14th century, appears in the windows on the first floor, as well as the image of Saint Benedict, which is located above the eastern balcony, inscribed in a very pointed gable and topped with a rosette.
  • The climb to the tower is highly recommended, the stairs are very easy and you have impressive views. By the way, with the experience, you get a historical talk to learn more about the town and you become a bit more educated.
  • Medieval tower without access, with a gate where we can see archaeological remains of the area, an imposing tower where we can see the windows that dominate the valley.
  • Tower from which you can see a large part of the city
