We have visited several wineries all around the world, and this is the first time that we were truly surprised. From the time that we booked the tour, Maialen was great and very engaging. She provided not only a warm welcome to us to the winery but also thought us a lot about their wine, the different process and even bottles, corks and barrels. The whole experience was extraordinary and very educational. We played a game that we highly recommend to do (Juego de los Aromas) in which you blindly smell different spices, fruits and condiments. We really had a great time and that prepared us for the tasting. The wines are great and the tasting was generous and diverse. Overall we learn a lot about the Rioja wines, and their production and we could not be thankful enough of Maialen for all her time and attentions. As a final note, we toured the winery with our Chocolate Lab, and they were so great taking care of her and tending and pampering her. So don't let your furry pal at home, they are welcoming and AMAZING!!

Such a great experience. Our hostess was knowledgeable and amazing with our children, involving them and providing activities and snacks for them and we never heard one complaint! The tour + tasting was just the right length, and the facilities were beautiful. The wine was great too, we were especially surprised by the white varietal served. We would definitely reccomend a stop here if you are in the Rioja region.

Our experience at Bodega Lonzano was exceptional! Situated at the bottom of Sierra de Cantabria, the location is breathtaking. Maialen hosted us on a tour of the winery and gave great details along with a fun, welcoming and educational tasting. If this wasn’t enough to highly recommend Lonzano, we scheduled our tour on a weekend and were the only group there; making us feel like we had the place to ourselves to enjoy the natural beauty of our surroundings! Young winery, educational tour, exceptional vino and amazing views.

This tour and tasting was amazing, we had our little dog with us and there was only a small area he couldn’t go but it didn’t take away from the experience! Very friendly and knowledgeable guide and is also a family friendly tour
