The best area in the city for enjoying the region’s savory bar bites, known as tapas, Cava Baja Gallery is a narrow street lined with charming storefronts, dotted with wrought-iron balconies. Locals fill the restaurants during the lunch hour and again at night. While you wait for a table, peek into the tiny boutiques along the street, where you'll find locally made goods. A visit to Cava Baja Gallery represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Madrid travel itinerary planner to plot your vacation.

What a terrific part of town in this supremely fun city. Very authentic and full of locals doing what Spanish do better than any one else. Socialising and having fun till very very late.

An important gift and you don't know what to give? Well, any of the engravings by the painter Alfredo Pérez Roldán, what it will cost you will be to choose one. And the attention of the person who runs it is excellent, friendly, attentive and always willing to help.

During my visit to CABA BAJA Galery, I have discovered a welcoming place, where positive energy is perceived in the subtle brushes and paintings of its artists and the warm welcome of Mercedes who attends it. For me, it has been a discovery that art is imagining from the artist's creativity when it merges into the observer's retina.
