I originally met Jimena during the pandemic on virtual wine tastings back in the US. so when we booked this trip to Spain, I knew we had to take a tour with her. We had the best experience on Jimena’s Central Madrid wine and tapas tour! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Madrid that wants to learn more about Spanish wine and traditional tapas. This was the highlight of our trip- Jimena gave us a ton of wine recommendations. We wished we did this at the beginning of our trip because we learned so much!! Do yourself a favor and book a tour with Jimena, you won’t regret it!

Jimena was a great guide. We did the tapas and wine tour with her. My only regret is that we didn't spend more time together. Jimena was very knowledgeable about wines and answered all of our questions. Learning about the food and culture made the experience very enriching and I'm grateful for it. Will plan to return to Madrid or the surrounding areas and take a longer and more wine focused tour with Jimena. Thank you again!

Had the best time with Jimena for our central madrid tapas and wine tour!! It was so lovely learning about the local Spanish food and wines, Jimena was so knowledgeable. I wished we had booked it at the beginning of our trip because she gave us so many ideas of places to return to visit. Highly recommend the central madrid tour or winery tour- anything you do with Jimena and Colorful Wines would be an amazing experience!!

Jimena, unfortunately could not be with us on our Wine & Tapas tour, instead she arranged for another sommelier to be with us. Esther was exceptional in her knowledge and manner. We visited three different wine bars and tasted vermouth straight from the barrel for the first time in an old bar, exquisite! The two other wine bars were amazing, we particularly liked the Cava and Amontillado at Vides and of course the tortilla. Tasting red wines from Rioja and Ribera Del Duero side by side was a wonderful way to finish the evening. We will definitely do this tour again when we are next in Madrid.
