    A pleasant surprise. It seems too good a castle to date from 500 years ago, and the truth is in its extensive renova-tion in the 1960’s. But you can see enough of the original to know it is genuine...

    Castle was nicely renovated and interesting, but it took 1,5 hours to get in as there were so many people in there.

    Magical little town and only 40 mins drive from Madrid. If you are looking for some fresh mountain air with lake views and a castle, this is the place to go. The town center has many cafes and cool places to have a coffee or a beer.

    A great place to visit in this small but friendly town. The visit takes place in different rooms of the castle where we can observe part of the customs of the time.

    I did not know that in 1983 the statute of autonomy of the Community of Madrid was signed! A charming town!
