Soft sand backed by modern construction and the Castle of Esteve make La Fosca Beach a popular spot on the Costa Brava. Volleyball players often set up nets in the evening hours, while the days on the beach are reserved for relaxation. The bay next to the beach is roped off for safe swimming. To the left of the bay is a canoe rental station, and to the right a paddle boat rental. Small bars called "chiringuitos" are located on the sand, serving snacks and a small selection of drinks to keep you refreshed. Save money by bringing plenty of water and snacks for your day on the beach. Water is clean and very nice, as is the beach. Not too crowded when you go early. Definitely recommend this beach !

One of the best Costa Brava experiences I've had. Great views, wild nature, Rick's, sea, beaches, fresh air. Take the walking route along the sea for all the crazy views.
-
I loved it! Nice, cosy, far away from the noise of the city
-
Fantastic beach! So much more beautiful than the large overcrowded beach of Palamos itself.
-
Very big quiet beach with a very clear water!
-
Nice sandy beach. Was quite busy when we visited but still plenty of room on the beach and to swim in the sea. Reasonably shallow shelf so good for paddling. Plus plenty of fish for snorkelling. Parking nearby was easy and cheap (€3 for the day). There are a few places to buy food and drink fron on the beach - D&C would recommend.
