Nestled in a small square in the old town, Iglesia de Ntra. Sra. de la Paz represents a 16th-century Franciscan church best known for its ornate Baroque interior, heavily loaded with plaster panels and gilding. In the past, the church served as a hermitage and blood hospital. Today, it houses one of the city's most important religious sculptures from the 18th century--the Christ of the Blood by Duque Cornejo. Use our Ronda journey planner to add Iglesia de Ntra. • Beautiful church
  • Beautiful tradition
  • We were lucky that on our carriage ride through the old part of Ronda the church was open and our carriage driver stopped and pointed this out to us. Following his advice, we visited the church briefly and were able to see that it is basically designed like many churches in Andalusia and is more beautifully equipped than so many others. So it can definitely be recommended for a visit.
  • The cathedral is beautiful, very small located in the center of the old quarter, but it is worth seeing.
  • It is the church of the patron saint of Ronda, it is located in a very small square and next to a school.
