Palacio de Mondragon
Built in 1314, Palacio de Mondragon was erected for royalty, and is filled with Mudejar features and decor. During your visit, you will see Mudejar ceilings, doors, windows, ceramic tile, pillars, mosaics, balconies, and more. The garden overlooking the gorge is a highlight of the site. There are also exhibits throughout the building about the history of the town and its surroundings. English translations are provided but are sometimes cryptic, so consider researching the attraction before you go. Unusual and instructive as a museum should be. I imagine that my grandchildren would like it. Good view on the history of southern Spain.

Very well-maintained, beautiful palatial house. It has a very informative museum inside. The garden and the courtyard at the back are beautiful. Breathtaking view of the valley from the garden.

The place is OK, but be warned, there's not much inside apart from exhibits about settlements in the region. There's no furniture nor attempt to reconstitute how it used to be like before. There's a small garden with nice views outside of it. I would give it a pass to be honest.

The museum is not about the history of this particular Palace, yet we enjoyed it greatly. The exhibition covers the pre history time-line, with detailed explanations over the ways of living, tool making, discoveries and progress of civilization throughout pre-historic "spain". It also shows how the battles and expansion of kingdoms took place in the Mediterranean area over the last millennia. The whole exhibition is translated to English, making it easy for foreigners. The Palace itself and garden are gorgeous. We find it totally worthy the 4 euro ticket (Nov/22) for the visit, even though we just spent one afternoon in Ronda, it really provided the dose of culture and history we like to get in City trips.

Our family enjoyed walking through the museum, it offers an amazing respite from people and heat of the day with plenty of picture perfect views. I love how I can read information without using Google translate, it must be tough to figure out what to prevent in a place rich with history but I do love they presented a little bit of everything!
-
Its okay place to see, especially because its cheap, but most of the things are replicas and its not about Ronda history but prehistoric era in general. Everything is on english so its easy for tourists but all in all, nothing to get crazy about.
