  • A beautiful, free local attraction. The walk up is steep, not easy for everyone. I love walking, so I enjoyed it. Public restrooms, a museum, and a bar are at the top. The museum and bar were closed (February) but I didn't mind. We were still able to explore the fort, it's outbuildings, and the many winding paths. We came down using a different path than we took up. There are many scenic views of the ocean and the cities of San Sebastian and Gross
  • To go up it takes around 30 min with all the stops for photos and enjoying the view. Once you go up there, you can chill around the walls and see the Chapel. To go down it also takes some time but on the way down you have a great viewpoint at the other surfing beach so make sure not to miss it! It's worth seeing for sure. It's not super busy at the top and the entrance is free.
  • It's quite a climb one needs to go through, but the view is totally worth the effort. It may be better to go for a visit earlier in the morning or during the lunch time so you avoid this place getting crowdy. There are also great things of artillery to observe inside the fort, the building itself and a close view of a statue. It seems like there is some sort of a small church inside, but I'm not sure about it's opening hours. Also, I absolutely loved that you can appreciate different view points so that you have a different perspective of all time beautiful view. Overall, a great place for a good hike.
  • One of the most beautiful places I have ever been. On a winter morning it wasn’t terribly busy, and the views of the town were incredibly. Feels like a place steeped in history.
  • Great place for sightseeing. The hike up there is a nice exercise. There are many view points to see on the way up to the top. When you get there you will see a little museum with the history of the area.
