It is a very easy hike, no special hiking shoes required, although they would help with the cobblestone part of the hike. It is not very steep or long. It does offer a nice view of St. Sebastian...

So, full disclosure: we did not go all the way up to the top on this park. We just wandered around on the waterfront level. But it was so beautiful! It is a very different perspective than from Monte.... more

Beautiful scenic view from the top. Worth the relatively quick walk. You don't need hiking shoes but flip flops won't do. You could probably summit in 30-40 minutes, but I'd suggest a leisurely hour each way.

Fantastic panoramic views of the city. A must see on your first visit. Try to climb on a clear, sunny day to best experience it all. You would be mad to not enjoy a beverage on top!

I’d recommend hiking around sunrise.. Went in the winter and it was beautiful and warm in the sun.

You can take a light walk and get up to the monument of Jesus Crist. There is a bar half way, with a nice view. Take into account that it is crowded.
