Horta Viva, Valencia

We visited as an arranged event and the host, Mikel, was delightful and passionate about sharing the traditions of paella preparation. It was a wonderful time, starting and tending the fire, prepping the veggies and doing the cooking. It was a real hands on experience. I even got the opportunity to cut the head of lettuce from the garden for our salad. It doesn't get any fresher than that. Delicious meal. Five stars!!!

We have had the learning activity to make Valencian paella. It has been a magical experience. A special and very interesting atmosphere, since we make paella with fire, outdoors, inside a typical Valencian house with a garden and patio. Excellent treatment very friendly and professional. We learned a lot and ended the experience with an aperitif, wine and eating one of the best paellas we have ever tasted. You can not ask for more. It is excellent and highly recommended.
