  • I am fascinated by the works of the Bawa brothers and am glad I came by to see this place. If you too are a fan and have read all about either or both, this is worth the visit.

  • A breathtaking landscape it is ! The road to entrance is narrow and it's preferred use either private vehicle or a taxi for the drop. The ticket price for garden is Rs.500 while garden + house tour cost Rs.2000, which is on the high end. Well maintained natural garden with a silent surrounding. The guide accompanying guests is an inspired individual. A quality and informative experience.
  • I would say this is more of an on the way visit location rather than a destination. It’s a beautiful garden an area about 5 acres. Ticket price is on high side, may be the owners want to make it exclusive and limit the visitors. But anyway it’s good if they can be little more polite on the visitors. About 1 km of the access road is narrow, It’s really difficult to cross two vehicles
  • Owners(head Gardner and his wife) are very rude, they didn't even let a 3 yr old sit on a chair after walking in the garden. There's nothing much to see inside the house despite of the 2000LKR ticket.only the living room and open bathroom are extra. No kitchen or bedrooms are included 😂. None of the water features are functional. But the garden is very well manicured. And worker who's issuing the tickets gave us a very good tour.
  • I think this used to be a very active place not too long ago. I've even heard a lot of stories abou the place. It's a large garden with lots of cross pathways. Need time to cover everywhere. The bungalow is exclusive. Maybe due to lack of visitors, it's hard to keep the place sturdy. But if you are around, it's a nice place to have a visit.
  • Beautiful landscape designed by Bevis Bawa, the brother of Jeffrey Bawa. The ticket for the garden entrance is LKR 500 while the house tour is additional LKR 2000. The staff is quite friendly. The garden consist of many levels and locations. Refer to the map at the entrance to better orient yourself in the garden. Many statues of creative creatures, ponds, beautiful stairways and much more can be seen here. Suitable for couples, families or even to hangout alone.
