Today the house museum displays numerous memorabilia from his life, such as letters, garments, and other personal belongings. Number one attraction on the island along with The Ladder in my opinion.Well preserved history of this once Great Emperor. One should take time and enjoy this place.

Very interesting perspective of Napolean's last days. Definitely recommend the audio tour. Lots of great information and so much history. Beautiful grounds.

The house where Napoleon was imprisoned in, he had servants and lived in relative luxury with his closest Generals with him however the guide had mentioned that the then Governor made it a point to remind Napoleon that he was a prisoner of war every now and then. Stood before his death bed and it was an incredibly humbling experience. We weren't allowed to take photos inside as a sign of respect but I did manage to get a few photos outside.
