Good for snorkeling or swimming, Mullet Bay Beach features a crescent-shaped bay with rocky beach areas on the east and west ends and soft, white sand in between. Rest in the ample shade, or swim to the rocky areas at the end of the beach and observe tropical fish while snorkeling. You can sample local food and drink at bars toward one end, or watch the occasional surfer ride the waves. Consider sticking around until sunset for a memorable view. We visited Mullet Bay early in the morning, and were warmly greeted by Chester. He showed us to our chairs and umbrella, insuring the umbrella was positioned to our liking to prevent constant sun...

Really enjoyed our day here. Lots of chairs to rent and beautiful blue water. There’s also some snorkeling right off the beach.

Absolutely love this beach! Usually not crowded, water is clear. Watch out for currents when swimming, watched someone get caught in the rip current while I was there. Probably not the best beach if you have really small children.

2022 November 4.5* Off the cruise docks, you'll be confronted by many taxi's that will take you to one of the many beaches in town. I'm sure they collude to raise the prices up for tourists as I can't imagine how locals pay that amount daily to get around the island. For ~$15USD per person each way, they will take you to this beach. Prices go down slightly based on number of riders. If you walk out, from the port a bit into the city area (about 30 mins walk), you can probably haggle down the price a little - but if you want to go direct and not haggle, your better off just paying the amount at the ferry docks. Managed to get round trip for ~$70USD for 4 within the city. Once at the beach, the people charge you for the benches/umbrella. $20 for umbrella & 2 chairs. The beach itself is nice, clear, but on my day, it was a bit breezy and the waves really pounded you. It was still fun none the less. A bit pricey to come, but the beach is nice. Water is quite clear. Sand is fairly grainy but still worth checking out.

Mullet Bay is my absolute favorite beach in Saint Martin to visit. The water is beautiful blue, clean and clear. This beach is teaming with ocean critters and fish. I have had the pleasure of swimming with an octopus, stingray and hundreds of fish at this beach. Tourist who don’t know any better, pay for a scuba diving excursion on the other side of the island just to be dropped off at this beach where you can visit for free and get the same experience! I love the local BBQ huts located right in the beach serving up delicious simple food. Burgers, Jerk chicken, dirty rice, French fries and more! All at a great low price. You can eat, swim and enjoy the sun without even leaving the area.

Pictures don't do justice to the beauty of this place. After visiting nearly 15 beaches in the island, and 150+ around the world, this one is definitely in my top 3. Chair/Umbrella rentals, volleyball net, and snorkeling available. Please don't litter.

Nice beach, very good for families and kids. Water is calm and clear, so many people take their toddlers and even babies there. You can rent chairs and umbrellas. There is also shade from trees. Parking is good, be early on weekends, because it can get crowded. Bring your snorkeling gear.
