  • I took a taxi there with Wayne & Shakeira from Top Dawn Taxi! Highly recommend! It's a beautiful, unique place to swim and a lovely drive through the countryside to get there.

  • This place is such a beauty!! The volcanic rocks that around the pond makes this place look so unique! You can climb up the rocks, take in the scenery and you can even see the island of St Lucia from a distance. The Salt pond water is so blue and beautiful, water is not to cold, lovely to swim around.
  • Took a drive, did not have time for a dip. There were lots of stairs over 200, nice going down but not so much coming up. Beautiful, well maintained area to the top fitted with gazebos and picnic benches perfect for a day out. The pond has many rocks that you have to either walk on or pass to get to the deeper ponds. They are dangerously slippery. Will do back some time to experience the ponds but the drive was so scenic passing all the villages along the mountain side. Worth a trip.
  • Such beautiful scenery and a nice place to relax.
  • Gorgeous place! Didn’t enjoy the steps back up tho 🙈
  • The Owia Salt Ponds are essentially volcanic rocks that formed a barrier and the sea water washes over parts of the rock. There's fishes in the pond for snorkeling. Most of the area is 4-7feet deep. The area is also unique because it has black sand from the volcanic eruptions that created the area. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful...
