It was an amazing nature as well as a human experience. We went with Cardy Adventures. Very thankfull to Dyon, our guide, and Carla, his wife, chief cooking, for the good time we shared together.

Very nice place, the time past at this place was very resourceful. Inside the park you can see a view of the beautiful Brokopondo lake and also hiking through the forest to admire beautiful waterfalls.

Brownsberg is an amazing nature park. The way to the top is a real off-road way. The way is mostly red of the bauxite and on your left and right is ravine. It's only 13 kilometers but because of the way it took me with my SUV 2 hours. But don't be afraid, you won't get bored, because of the beauty of the rainforest and the excitement of climbing the way up with your car. You can also book a tour. When you're on the top you check in at the reception so they know there are people going into the forest. From the reception you can go to outlook points with an amazing view. You can also walk to a natural swimming opportunity. And to waterfalls, there are different waterfalls on Brownsberg, bigger ones and smaller ones.: Leoval, Ireneval, Kumboval. At the reception you get a map to the waterfalls and the walking times. The most short from the reception is Leoval, 40minutes where I went. It's very beautiful in the middle of the rainforest but not easy. Good clothes for this kind of places are highly recommended. But overall it's worthy.

If you have one day to spare take a good guide and go there. Prepare for a hike though. Waterfalls are great.

Brownberg is a great place to go and visit wildlife and the waterfalls. The road to get to it however is full of potholes and takes a local with expert knowledge to navigate it in bad weather conditions. Would recommend visiting it via a tour guide rather than on your own
