  • Hard to believe the sheer beauty and majesty of this wooden building until you experience it. Rightly famous as a symbol of the city and the UNESCO World Heritage location.

  • Very beatiful cathedral outside! But there is a dress code and guard in front of it. It should be open for everyone to enter like all churches in Europe!
  • One of the most beautiful historical buildings of Paramaribo Capital. This wooden cathedral is much worth visiting. It has a rich history. of course you also can attend a service there. But the St. Petrus and Paulus Basilisk is open everyday for visitors. Do make a small contribution for maintenance do. that helps to keep it the way it is. inside there is a lot of decorated Cedar wood ornaments.
  • A beautiful well maintained building. Amazingly made from all wood.
  • Amazing wooden church in beautiful Paramaribo. One of the oldest wooden charges in the Caribbean!
  • Great church you need to visit if you are in Paramaribo. Totally made of wood.
