Very beatiful cathedral outside! But there is a dress code and guard in front of it. It should be open for everyone to enter like all churches in Europe!

One of the most beautiful historical buildings of Paramaribo Capital. This wooden cathedral is much worth visiting. It has a rich history. of course you also can attend a service there. But the St. Petrus and Paulus Basilisk is open everyday for visitors. Do make a small contribution for maintenance do. that helps to keep it the way it is. inside there is a lot of decorated Cedar wood ornaments.
